In the Middle of It All

Woman leaning her head on a man’s shoulder during a sunset hike in a rocky desert landscape, eyes closed in a quiet, intimate moment of support and connection.

When the weight feels heavy, I lean here.

There’s something about being in the middle of a hard season that changes you.

Not the kind that breaks you all at once…
but the kind that stretches you slowly.

Where you’re holding love and boundaries at the same time.
Where you’re showing up for your family while quietly asking God for strength.

I’ve been learning what it means to stand firm…
without losing softness.

To lead with love…
without losing truth.

And to trust that even when things feel uncertain,
God is still writing something good underneath it all.

This season isn’t easy.

But I can feel it shaping something in me that wouldn’t exist without it.

And maybe that’s where growth actually lives…
not after it’s over, but right here in the middle.
